Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at B.S.Patel Polytechnic. The department of Mechanical Engineering started in 1999 and has made outstanding progress in the last 21 years.

The department has highly qualified faculty with rich teaching experience.

The Department thrives to impart fundamental knowledge and emphasizes on the overall development of students. The department emphasizes on the holistic development of its students and offers a conducive teaching and learning environment. 

The Department continuously endeavours to bridge the gaps between theoretical and practical knowledge through an up-to-date curriculum and interdisciplinary learning environment. The overall development of students is ensured through various curricular and co-curricular activities.

In its quest for excellence and continuous improvement, desire to evolve and stay abreast of the current trends, workshops, technical, training programs, industrial visits, expert talks by eminent academicians/researchers/industry resource persons are regularly conducted. The students and faculty members of the Department are encouraged to take up live industrial projects.
