The Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Diploma Engineering, Ganpat University, organized an Expert Lecture on “Fundamentals of Cement and Its Role in Modern Construction” on 16/09/2026 at the Centre of Excellence, Ganpat University. The expert lecture was organized as a part of the Engineer's Day Celebration 2026 and in association with UltraTech Cement Ltd. The session was conducted under the various initiatives of the Centre of Excellence to provide students with meaningful industry exposure and opportunities to interact with professionals from the construction industry.The session was delivered by Mr. Anand Sharma, Territory Manager, UltraTech Cement Ltd. Approximately 100 students participated in the session. The lecture was informative and provided students with valuable insights into cement, its properties, applications, and its role in modern construction.
